SeapixOnlineDisplaying 3529 of 11118 ROA - built in the late 1920's/early 1930's by Sam Ford, was once a mussel dredge for the Coromandel Mussel Dredging Company. She is seen here alongside SIERRA (built 1917) passing to East Coast Bays on Aucklands' North Shore on the way to the first mark in the 2013 Auckland Anniversary Day tug race. SIERRA was built as a harbour ferry and general workboat. She was also part of the Subritzky fleet in later years. She was steamed around the coast to Auckland in the 1950's and used as a ferry for the workmen during the construction of the Auckland Harbour Bridge in the late 1950's.
