QUEEN ELIZABETH 2 (1969/70327grt/IMO 6725418) about to pass Calshot Castle at the southern entrance to Southampton Water as she returns to her home port following repairs in Germany. She was holed when she ran aground in Martha's Vineyard, USA. For those with an interest in aviation, the Sunderland flying boat at bottom left once languished on the shores of the Upper Waitemata Harbour at Hobsonville in Auckland, New Zealand. After this picture was taken, the aircraft was flown to Canada by new owners. 1992. Photo by SeapixOnline.com/Trevor Coppock
