While undergoing a 25-million pound restoration, on the morning of 21 May 2007, she fell victim to what is suspected to have been an arson attack suffering devastating damage to her remaining timbers. Chris Livett, Chairman of Cutty Sark Enterprises says he is confident she can be repaired.
