SeapixOnlineDisplaying 177 of 11052 THELMA (A10) - Built in 1897 by Arch Logan, the gaff-rigged Thelma was for many years seen racing in Mediterranean waters before she was restored and shipped home to New Zealand in 2002 by new owners. The largest of the Arch Logan designs, she was bought by The Classic Yacht Charitable Trust”. Restored and relaunched in late 2007 she has since won many prestigious awards and races since. She is a frequent sight on the waters of Auckland’s Waitemata Harbour. ARIKI (A3) a gaff-rigged cutter built, again by Arch Logan, in 1904/5 for Charles Horton of the New Zealand Herald newspaper and proved to be the fastest yacht in town for 34 years.
